Common questions
Does it work without internet?
Yes — AurumOne is offline-first. Billing, stock, girvi and the daybook all run locally; nothing depends on a live connection.
Can I upgrade my mode later?
Yes. Upgrading from Silver → Gold → Diamond is instant and keeps all existing data — you just gain the new mode's functions.
How do I get a licence?
Use Request a Licence on the Control Portal, or contact sales from the Contact page.
Where do I download the installer?
From the Downloads page. You'll need an active licence from the Control Portal to activate it.
Does it support multiple shop branches?
Today, AurumOne runs one shop per install — you can run several counters or devices within that one shop, but consolidated reporting across separate branches is on the roadmap, not available yet.
Can multiple staff log in with different roles?
Not yet — the app is secured by PIN/app-lock for the whole shop rather than individual staff logins with separate permissions.
Is the "Negotiation Assistant" real AI?
It's a genuine, working decision engine — but it's rule-based and driven by your own transaction history and governance-configurable thresholds, not a black-box neural network. You can see and tune the rules yourself in the Governance console (Gold and above).
Does it send WhatsApp or SMS messages automatically?
Not automatically. The customer profile has quick-dial buttons that open your phone's own WhatsApp or SMS app with the customer's number ready — there's no bulk-send, template or gateway integration.
Can I import my existing customer and stock data?
Yes, through guided Opening Ledger and Opening Stock screens for bringing in existing khata balances and stock when you switch to AurumOne. There's no bulk file (CSV/Excel) importer — it's guided manual entry, done once during setup.
Does it calculate GST automatically?
Yes — when GST mode is switched on, AurumOne computes CGST, SGST and IGST automatically per item (from its HSN code and the applicable rate) and works out intra- vs inter-state tax on its own. The printed Tax Invoice is Rule 46 compliant: HSN codes, tax rate and amount per line, place of supply (state name and code), reverse-charge status and a dedicated GST invoice series. Shops not yet GST-registered can stay on the existing Rough Estimate mode instead.
